This pragma is no bad idea, indeed, but I see currently two problems:
a) bootstrapping a host in a chroot instead of using the installer
often needs some local modifications to work at all.
b) I don't want to completely throw over how xen-tools works, at least
not now. And setting up the DomU by default with sane values is
what xen-tools used to do.
For a later release we may think about such a pragma or maybe an
option --minimal or so. But for now I'd like to stay with sane
defaults.
It's more or less the discussion between "automagic" configuration and
"minimal" (possibly not out of the box working) configuration. (And
no, I won't compare this with Debian vs Ubuntu, because then I'm gonna
lose that discussion. ;-)
Anyway, thanks for that comment and the idea. We may keep that in mind
for later.
