[xen-tools-dev] Status

Hey all,

Things are looking good, that is if you can believe our TODO :) All we
have left are the following:
* xen-create-image man page overhaul:
* Interactive Password Handling (maybe also the passwd role)
* Test and support more file system types.
* xen-create-image should check all integer options on non-digits.
* Test suite should pass
* Setup locales in the hooks? <-- I'm taking this one

I'd really like to do the password script, however I'm not sure what
password generator works best. How can i generate a password hash with
salting using a tool like this, does anyone know?

I also wanted to inquire if there was a timeline for "Clean up the hooks
directory", i.e. moving to:

deb-common
rpm-common

This is listed under a 4.3 release. However i do think its worth
discussing how to best do this, and when. I think this should be the top
priority after 4.2.

@Axel, do you maybe want to branch this off?

In recent days I "standardized" 70-install-ssh and 50-install-hostname
for the debian-based systems, mainly by overwriting them with improved
scripts :P

I'm also playing around with kickstart, however don't expect it to be
commited to xen-tools for a couple of weeks.

@Nathan, i saw that you're commiting to your private repository, whats
your status?
