Let's do it! :)

I like sneaking in 2-line feature patches that buy us 6-months of being
"future-proof" :)

But seriously, as long as Ubuntu didn't change theyir init again, and as
long as all we need are the extra symlinks in the Makefile, then I'm all
for it!
