[xen-tools-dev] Can't find version 4.7 of xen utils, bailing out!

How can a download give such an error message? This usually only can
be caused by a running program.

This sounds like an issue with the xen installation, but not with
xen-tools. So you probably hit the wrong mailing list anyways.

I suspect that xen-utils might be installed from packages while xen
being installed from git and they don't match.

The upstream xen-utils are inside the project you already clones, see
http://xenbits.xen.org/gitweb/?p=xen.git;a=tree;f=tools (sic!)
