  A patched release was uploaded just before the official release, and
 the two are very similar (if not completely identical).

  Generally I'd expect the new package to be updated to Debian only
 after the previous one has made it to testing.  So figure on a
 ten day delay.

  The debian/ directory is stored in the CVS repository, and I usually
 make a backported version for Sarge available within a day or two
 of a new release - not done so for this one just yet, since i've been
 extremely busy, but one will come shortly.
