Hmm, no, that's what I thought you'd already gotten right, so now I explain:

The problem is, that other systems don't run well (sue did with a lot
of tweaking, debian wouldnä#t, or it would run, but I never got a
console output) with the kernels patched in the way redhat does.  This
means, you need a debian kernel and ramdisk on your fedora host - in
/boot/... and have this referred to in the above config lines.

You should find these files in the debian  image (mount the lvm volume
to /mnt), and need to copy them to your fedora system.
