  You don't tell us what you changed so we cannot guess what is
 happening.

  I suggest you login to the failing server and "su" to the user
 which is seeing hte problem, then run the xen-login-shell script
 to see what errors it produces on the console.

  If you do not see any errors then perhaps you should add some
 "print" statements to the code you've modified, just to be sure
 it is working the way you think it should..
