Both, Dmitry and me prefer git over hg, Mark told us about the nice
"social coding" features of github while Steve prefers hg.

Since with the hg git plugin (also know as hg-git; package name
mercurial-git in Debian and probably also Ubuntu), voting for hg is
actually no voting against git, I decided to move over to git. :-)

I played around with github for a few moments, but all repositories at
github are chained to a user account. So I looked how opening a
project at repo.or.cz works. And the cool thing is: It can mirror git
repositories from github.com and gitorious.org. So I had a look at
gitorius.org's features. They do not only have the concepts of users
and their repositories but also teams and projects and you can assign
repositories to teams and projects. And the explicitly feature Project
hosting including wikis.

So after another day or two of Dmitry and me playing around with
gitorious.org we decided that this currently seems to be the best
place for a central xen-tools git repository:

http://gitorious.org/xen-tools/xen-tools

I also added the git repository I started for maintaining the
xen-tools.org website in future:

http://gitorious.org/xen-tools/website

I'll do the next few commits needed to move over to git still
partially with hg, but they will be already pushed to both,
http://gitorious.org/xen-tools/xen-tools and
http://noone.org/hg/xen-tools/

Looking forward to Dmitry's patches for Karmic and Lucid!

BTW, anyone knows if http://code.google.com/p/xen-tools/ has something
to do with "our" xen-tools?

		Regards, Axel
