This should definitely read "xvda" instead of "sda".

I wonder where the "sda" comes from. Can you also post your
/etc/xen-tools/xen-tools.conf? All non-comment lines suffice, i.e. you
can post the result of

  egrep -v '^$|^#' /etc/xen-tools/xen-tools.conf
