[xen-tools-discuss] Problem: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS DomU via xen-create-image on Debian Wheezy Dom0

Hi,

just to inform anyone other who has this issue, too.

Axel was right, I upgraded the xen-tools version to the stable Version 4.4
with the .deb Package on the Homepage.
This works fine in Debian Wheezy. After that I still had to upgrade the
debootstrap version. (I used the version in the backports (v1.0.55))
Then everything works pretty fine!

Thanks for the Help and greetings.
Dominik

Yes you are right! I mean debootstrap. I didn´t know if I need the 10.04
script in both (xen-tools and debootstrap) so i decided to set it in both
directories.

I Don´t know what the initctl has to do with this problem but I believe you
here.

Yes that sounds likely!

That´s the Problem, killing processes are dangerous every time. You know a
good solution to be sure here, don´t you?
I would simple kill the process id shown by lsof, but I hope it has no
further impact.

Ok, I will try to upgrade as well, thanks for this info.
