Hi,

I've noticed what looks like a bug in the file:
hooks/common/40-setup-networking-deb

You can see some changes made here to how the 'gateway' variable is handled:

The result of this is that the variable 'gateway' is always blank due to 
line 91.

I've confirmed this on my current setup:
Ubuntu 14.04
xen-tools 4.4-1

Please let me know if this is a bug.
