thanks - gonna try it now.
I would have liked to install it as deb, but building from cvs source gave me:

dh_installchangelogs ChangeLog
install: cannot stat `ChangeLog': No such file or directory
dh_installchangelogs: command returned error code 256
make: *** [binary-arch] Error 1

all build dependencies are installed with apt-get build-dep, I run
etch from a mirror last updated about 2 weeks ago - any idea?

(gonna install from source now...)
