[xen-tools] Recommendation for amd64 machine

Slightly off-topic, but as there are folks I trust on this list, I  
hope you don't mind me asking...

We've got an amd64 box on our hands, and are looking for the most  
reliable way currently to run Xen on it. It seems that running a  
native 64bit Linux on it means we need to use an unstable Xen.  
However, running a 32bit Linux on it, we've been unable to compile  
Xen properly, the compilation dying somewhere in the assembler stage.

Has anybody got a happy 64 bit setup?
