/tmp/f/
the python library was being installed to /tmp/fusr instead of /tmp/f/usr

And well spotted! @^\`è!!! I am currently downloading etch. What sort
of rubbish distro would install dash as /bin/sh by default! I don't
care how much faster it is!

ps, and having the python library where it should have been didn't
change anything.
