  You did good :)   If you only want to make simple changes then
 the easiest approach is to edit the local copy you've checked out
 of CVS then run "make diff > some-changes.diff".

  For the future my only suggestion would be that it is always nice
 if you say what a patch does - as you did for the Perl Critic patch.
