  To be honest I have little interest.  True it would allow a little
 more flex ability, but the downside for me would be significant.  I 
 like having only a single image to work with, and not having to mess
 around with partition tables.

  For me personally when I want a large /home I either make a huge
 disk image, or add a role script to use NFS mounted storage from
 elsewhere.

  If there is overwhelming desire for this kind of thing I could
 be persuaded, but my initial reaction is to ignore it completely..
