And by the way, I tested CVS + that patch using these args:

$ sudo xen-create-image \
   --hostname=foo.bar.baz \
   --ip=192.168.1.225 \
   --dist=etch \
   --gateway=192.168.1.1 \
   --mirror=file:///var/spool/debmirror
